Dr. Cherry C. C. LEE

Emergency Veterinarian


Dr. Cherry Lee graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012. She developed her interest in emergency and critical care during her clinical rotations. After graduation, she moved back to Hong Kong and started her veterinary career at a small animal first-opinion and shelter clinic, where she saw a wide range of trauma and welfare cases. Then she spent a few years working at a speciality hospital as an emergency vet where she continued her journey in managing complex referral cases and working closely with specialists in different veterinary fields. She is excited to become part of the ER team at CityU VMC in 2019.

She will be obtaining Master of Veterinary Medicine offered by Massey University in 2019, which composed of post-graduate studies in diagnostic imaging, gastroenterology, dermatology, endocrinology and emergency medicine. She has completed a literature review on negative-pressure wound therapy in small animal as her master’s dissertation. She also enjoys attending conferences and CPD around the world to enhance her knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine.

In her leisure time, she enjoys travelling, hiking, cooking and spending time with her pets.
